About Clark

What this site is for

Clark is a support site for farming communities. It brings together, in one place, the things people in agriculture often need and struggle to find quickly: who to call in an emergency, where to turn when things feel too heavy, plain guidance on health checks and farm paperwork, and somewhere to look at livestock prices.

If there is something you would like to see added, please ask. Requests are welcome and the site grows from what people tell us they need.

Where the information comes from

The information here is drawn from sources that agricultural chaplains and health professionals consider useful. We link to the original organisation wherever we can, so you can check the detail and get help directly from them.

What it costs

Nothing. Everything on Clark is free to use unless a page clearly says otherwise. You do not need an account and we do not ask for your details.

How the site is paid for

A page carries at most a single advert. That advert pays for the site to run, and that is all it is for. We do not sell anything, we do not take payment to list an organisation, and adverts have no influence on what we publish. Adverts are supplied by Google and are clearly labelled. Our Privacy Policy explains how they work and the choices you have.

Questions, complaints and requests

If you spot something wrong or out of date, have a complaint, or want something changed or added, please get in touch:

We read everything and will correct mistakes as quickly as we can.

Important: the limits of this site

Clark provides general information and signposting only. It is not professional, medical, financial or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for speaking to a doctor, a qualified adviser or the relevant organisation about your own circumstances.

We take care over what we publish, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is complete, accurate or up to date, and we are not responsible for the content of other websites we link to. To the extent the law allows, Clark accepts no liability for any loss or harm arising from actions taken, or not taken, on the basis of information on this site.

In an emergency, always call 999.
